Responsible for operations at the Montréal office, Normand Daoust has practical experience in several niches of supply chain optimization, which provides him with an astute and critical view of a company’s level of competitiveness and potential for improvement. The improvement philosophy he recommends, called Lean Manufacturing, has enabled a number of manufacturers to rapidly realize tangible and lasting profits, without having to make large capital investments.

Working as a manufacturing and logistics management consultant for over fifteen years, Érik Blanchet conducted many projects of Lean Manufacturing concept implementation, business process reengineering and supply chain optimization for Quebec midsize and large businesses. He was the cofounder and president of ATHENA Stratégie Manufacturière, a firm acquired by The Createch Group in 2004. He is now in charge of the business unit at the Group’s Québec city office.

Mr. Michel Girard is responsible for consulting services for logistics performance improvement. His extensive experience in management and consulting with world class companies and his vast knowledge of different industries enable him to judiciously guide clients in the development and implementation of strategies within information systems as well as logistics processes.

During his professional career, Stéphane Chantal played a particularly significant role for Québec companies through his participation in the implementation of technological tools such as the ERP and MES systems (Manufacturing Execution System) and electronic commerce. In 2003, working with The Createch Group, he was at the helm of an innovative ERP and electronic commerce project that won an OCTAS in the Fédération Informatique du Québec (FIQ) competition, in the category ‘Transformation of Business Processes’.

Responsible for the Quebec city office, Guylaine Belley has been involved in over thirty factory transformation projects, either implementing the Lean production system or transforming processes for integrating ERP systems. She was also called upon to develop jointly with the MDER a Québec model for improving manufacturing performance, Lean Manufacturing, and to develop a seminar on integrated management systems as well as ongoing improvement.

Sylvain Roy is Vice President—Services and responsible for information technologies within The Createch Group. He began his career with Andersen Consulting, where he worked for nearly four years. He then founded his own company, which was acquired by The Createch Group in 2000. During his career, he has taken part the installation of many integrated management systems, working his way from programmer, to technical analyst, systems analyst, and finally as project manager.
Mr. Roy has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Montréal’s École Polytechnique and has also been certified in Inventory Management and Microsoft technologies.

Responsible for the Hamilton office, Mike Popovic has been a key player in the evolution of management services and asset optimization throughout his career. In his over 19 years in the industry, he has been involved in many consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies around the world. In 1998, he founded PopWare, a consulting firm specialized in asset optimization. The company grew so quickly that in 2004, Profit Magazine included it among the 100 fastest growing Canadian companies. Mr. Popovic joined The Createch Group in 2006 when both companies merged.

Brian Cosgrove, CA Vice President – Finances and Administration
Brian Cosgrove began his career about fifteen years ago with a chartered accountant firm where he served a variety of customers, notably via a number of consulting mandates in management and taxation. He then assumed the financial management of companies working in the IT sector. With extensive experience in financial control and company management, Mr. Cosgrove has been a key participant in several financial transactions, mergers and company acquisitions, as well as their subsequent integration.
Mr. Cosgrove holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting Sciences from the Université du Québec à Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec.
Luc Poulin, P.Eng., MBA Vice President – Marketing and Communications
Luc Poulin has extensive knowledge in the integration and marketing of technological business solutions. Always searching for complementary knowledge and constantly on the lookout for new market trends and needs, he has acquired over the years a great deal of specialized training in technological and operational management of projects and sales. Mr. Poulin has also contributed to many operational initiatives relating to continuous improvement at Nortel.
